House Churches

 

We believe that the basic call of Christian salvation is to join a new family created in Jesus Christ.  Yet, we also recognize that as church bodies grow larger, it is more difficult for individual members to be cared for and to feel that they are truly part of a family.  Our house church ministry is how the Fox Valley Church of Christ meets that need. 

We desire to see that everyone in our body develops and maintains the close connections of a family within the body of Christ.  In order to accomplish that, we have house churches that typically consist of 8-10 people that meet together regularly throughout the area of the Fox cities.

Our house churches are committed to meeting the needs of each family member through love, encouragement, hospitality, and family style connection. The goal of each house church is to create a god-focused family atmosphere where everyone is both loved and called to love others and where no one will slip through the cracks.



Each house church meets specifically on the first, third, and fifth week of each month at different times and places as well as meeting quite often informally in part or in whole.  You are invited to come to one of our house churches and experience them for yourselves.
