Kingdom Kids

 

Kingdom Kids is FVCC’s children’s ministry that is specifically geared to minister to children from 6 months to preteen age. We have classes for students that are for 6 months – 2 years old; 3-4 years old; 5-6 years old; and 7-9 years. old. The goal of each class is to teach children a love for songs that praise and worship God and to challenge them to learn how to apply the Bible to every area of their lives at an age appropriate level. Each class includes singing, crafts, a complete class curriculum, and snack time. Classes are held during the Sunday morning worship service which begins at 10 AM each Sunday and during the Wednesday night congregational services which take place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month.

To go to church to just say you went to church growing up is something that so many people have done in the past and still do today. They've never really learned what it meant to truly love God, love Christ, and their ways. The goal of it should be to learn about God and His ways, learn how to apply them, and most of all do it while loving Him and one another. John 13:34-35 and Matthew 22:37.

This is the philosophy of the Children's Ministry: To grow up in God & Christ and feel their love, while learning about their ways and desires.

Our children will carry on Christ's legacy beyond our years and their youth is the time to lay the foundation for Him and His ways.
